Community Health Needs Assessments (CHNA)
Since 2016, the Alliance for Health Equity - a collaboration between the Illinois Public Health Institute and area hospitals, health departments, and community organizations across Chicago and Suburban Cook County - has convened to complete the area’s Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA).

2025 Community Health Needs Assessment
In 2024-2025, the Alliance for Health Equity completed a collaborative Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) for Chicago and Suburban Cook County. The report builds on the previous assessments and allows partners to identify strategic priorities that they can collectively address to improve community health.
